Xmas Carol Singing for Cancer Charity at The Lamp Tavern, B5 6AH on Sat 14 Dec 2019 at 8pm

On my Alan the Poet Therapeutic blog, I blogged last year about my Reconnecting with the Birmingham Folk Music Scene. Due to travel logistics from Hereford and finance issues, I've yet to get out to a Birmingham folk music event, but am still in contact with Paul Ryan of Black Diamond Folk Club.

Paul writes:

Hi Folks a date for your diary.

Alison is once again organising the annual carol singing evening at the Lamp Tavern and as usual we are proud to support this event.
Details below:
Saturday 14th December 8pm.
Carol books will be provided and you are invited to bring along your favourite carol to sing.
Listeners are very welcome.
Admittance is free but as usual there will be a collection for a cancer charity.
Regards.
 Paul Ryan.

Meanwhile, I note that Lamp Tavern has been voted  by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) as the Best Pub in Birmingham for Real Ale.
